Explore some of the resources on the SDGS website that you might not be aware of or have used previously. Learn about material published by SDGS including the Leaves & Saplings research journal, SD County Records, ways to find and communicate with other members with similar research interests, on-demand webinars by Thomas MacEntee, links to other resources, and more. This will be a primarily live demonstration and deeper dive into parts of the website that will be briefly introduced in the 25 July SDGS Orientation.

Classes on genealogy, family history, media/technology, and computer skills are held at 9 am (PT) on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of most months except January, September, and December.  Classes are designed for a variety of interests and ability levels and are often used as a refresher.

This meeting will be a Virtual Only meeting via Zoom.  

The Zoom link will be sent to registrants a few days before the meeting.

Registration will open about a month in advance.

The public is welcome to register and attend.
