October is Family History Month! SDGS and other local genealogy groups will have information tables at the San Diego History Center to raise awareness about and showcase the resources of our groups. This is an opportunity to help people who may have never heard of genealogical societies learn what we have to offer.
Can you help staff our table? Email education@casdgs.org if you would be willing to help for a 2-4 hour shift or with any questions.
Even if you can't help out, you're welcome to drop by.

Classes on genealogy, family history, media/technology, and computer skills are held at 9 am (PT) on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of most months except January, September, and Decembers. Classes are designed for a variety of interests and ability levels and are often used as a refresher.
